Born and raised in the Mountain West, I was initially in Middle Eastern Studies (BA, Univ. of Utah, 1978, MA, Univ. of Chicago, 1985), but earned my MA in Linguistics as well (MA, Univ. Illinois at Chicago, 1995).
I have been a technical translator (primarily German to English, specializing in patents and medical reports) since 1981 and have worked in-house since 1986.
I am now very eager to expand to the translation of books.
