Certified Translator / Proofreader - Freelance mainly from English and French into Portuguese, over 18 years experience, while volunteering for Translators without Borders, translating / proofreading in multiple subjects.

Knowledge of Spanish and Russian, although I have a much higher level of English.

Despite my 11 years of English studies and linguistics, I lived in the UK for a period of 5 years. I also studied French for 9 years, Russian for 3 years and I am a self-taught Spanish speaker.

My native language is European Portuguese. 

Qualified, from ESECB (Portugal), in Translation and Administration, since 2001, as well as Economics, since 2006, from ESTGIPG (Portugal). I also became a Trainer, in 2008, a Mentor and later on, in 2017, I certified as a qualified Bussiness Manager.

The degree / certificate 'Optimizing the Practice of Mentoring in Research Careers' was an award achieved at the University of Minnesota Clinical and Translational Science Institute - a certification sponsored by National Research Mentoring Network, in 2016.

Other formations include: Alternative Medicines (Reflexology, Food Therapy, Phytomedicine, Flower Therapy, Aromatherapy, Musictherapy, Crystal Therapy), General Stress Management Techniques et alia, certified by EnPlenitude, Spain, Gene Therapy - Biology, and Infection and Immunity - Health, Sports & Psychology, by The Open University.
