I am a Swiss citizen living in Italy. My mother language is Italian and I speak fluently French, English and German.
My professional career, in an international Company trading raw material, ended unexpectedly for a heart attack. I then thought appropriate to anticipate my retirement.
Having always loved to write and having no nephews to carry on the park playground I tried to start writing stories first for my pleasure and also to fill gaps left by my previous commitments.
Having travelled extensively around the world, my imaginary stories are influenced by places, countries, towns where I have worked and are therefore not peculiar to a country but truly international. This is why I would be happy to spread my stories in other languages, even tongues that I know well but not adequately for a literary text.
I wrote books and shorter stories which may be judged as “thrillers” linked into our present world reporting drug trafficking and terrorism set in the Middle East scenery and in Northern Ireland for independence fight.
My writing is simple not very academic or cerebral and I believe translation should be easy-going for a professional interpreter.
