I am a native English and Portuguese speaker with a degree in Translation (English, Portuguese and Spanish). I have been a freelance translator since 2004 and have worked with translation agencies from all over the world. I really got bored of translating all the technical documents and I found Babelcube which gave me the oportunity to work directly with independent authors to translate their books. I love reading so this gives me an oportunity to read peoples novels and also translate them to open up other markets for the author.

There were both American and British words in the translation. A lot of expressions weren't adapted to English and obviously didn't make sense. I could find words that weren't used in English. I had to read the book three times to correct the mistakes, which made me take longer to publish it.
