Bringing stories to life in new languages—one word at a time! Passionate literary translator with a master’s degree and a love for storytelling.

From a young age, I have been fascinated by the art of storytelling across languages, and it has been my dream to dedicate myself to translating books. I hold a master’s degree specializing in literary translation, where I honed my skills in preserving an author’s voice while making their work resonate with a new audience.

Although I am just beginning my professional journey as a translator, I bring a strong linguistic foundation and cultural insight from my experience as an English and Spanish teacher. Teaching has deepened my understanding of both languages' nuances, grammar, and cultural contexts—essential skills for high-quality translation. Additionally, as a native Catalan speaker, I have a multilingual perspective that enriches my approach to translation.

As part of my experience, I have translated (though not yet published) a children’s poetry book, The Frogs and Toads All Sang, from English to Spanish, which allowed me to refine my literary translation techniques. I am eager to collaborate with authors to make their stories accessible to new readers, ensuring that every word carries the depth and beauty of the original text.
