Bachelor in Social Communication - Journalism by one of the most prestigious Brazilian universities (Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie). Has been studying English for over 20 years and translation since 2018 and has a C2 level of English certified by the Cambridge C1 Advanced exam in 2023.
Has worked with communication since 2014, writing, translating, editing and proofreading texts, specially in the education and journalism fields for clients such as Escola Santi, Jornalismo Sem Fronteiras and Winner Idiomas. Since 2018, has been working as an English teacher and as Centre Exams Specialist, part of a team responsible for organising and managing ESL proficiency exams in Brazil for Cambridge, IELTS, Michigan and Oxford.
Has also been working as a freelance creative writer, translator and editor since 2014, working with clients such as independent publisher Next Chapter Publisher and Brazilian independent publishers Cartola Editora and Editora Allievo, as well as being a volunteer translator and subtitle proofreader for TED.
Some of the books she has translated are Oscar Wilde's "The Happy Prince and Other Tales" and "House of Pomegranates", May Sinclair's "Uncanny Stories", H.P. Blavatsky's "Nightmare Tales" and Charlotte Dacre's "Zofloya, or The Moor".
