I start writing when I was a child. Short stories for friends and family.
My head is full of stories that ask to come out but I never try to move to bigger audience until, in 2011, I start a projet for an hystorical book.
What should be a short research became a 4 years study about the end of 1200 in Italy, the dicovering of new, amazing characters and the creation of a big puzzle about unknown people and historical facts and persons.
The book it's about the life of fra Dolcino da Novara, an heretic that took weapons to fight against the Church.
The entire project it's for a trilogy, called "Penitenziagite".
The first book, "Genesi", has been published at the end of 2015 receiving a very positive feedback and review, reminding to readers the ambience and enviroment of Eco's The Name of Rose, where fra Dolcino it's nominated and some of his following persecuted by the inquisition.
In August, 2018 the second book of the series, "Atti degli apostoli" has been published.
In the meantime, I'll publish a horror/fantasy novel called "Macchia" about a dog with very special powers. A kind of dark fairytale..
In 2020 the last book of the trilogy has been released.
In 2021 I start cooperate with a director to create a movie based on fra Dolcino's life. The subject won the selection from Piemonte Film Council and actually the project is in pre-production.
in 2022 I sold the rights of Penitenziagite's trilogy to an USA production firm to create a series.
Actually the books are only in italian and I would like to have it in more languages to reach a broader audience.
