I started working as a translator more than 15 years ago when I was living in the US and I was offered a job in the local newspapar starting translating articles from English into Spanish for a local newspaper, La Voz Latina which is a hispanic branch for The Emporia Gazette, local newspaper in Emporia, Kansas, US.
Later on I was offered to work for another newspaper in a city in Kansas. (Salina) I also worked for the Health Center and the Police Department in Emporia, making translations of flyers with important information for the hispanic community.
Now I live in Mexico and I am still working for them since 2001.
I really like my job because I learn a lot every day so that's why I am interested in translating books.
