Hello! I’m a Brazilian translator working with English, German, and French into Brazilian Portuguese. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Communication and Translation from the University Hildesheim, Germany.
As part of my academic journey, I completed my final dissertation with a German-to-French translation of an article from the magazine Psychologie Heute about depression—deepening my interest in psychology and mental health topics, in addition to my lifelong love for literature.
I’ve lived in France for two years and have been based in Germany since 2018, which has enriched my understanding of both languages and cultures. This international experience helps me translate not just words, but cultural nuances as well.
I'm a passionate reader, especially of fiction, but I'm also drawn to books on psychology, politics, and social issues. Some of my favorite authors include Patrick Modiano, Elena Ferrante, Margaret Atwood, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and Ana Suy, and I’m inspired by works like Yoga by Emmanuel Carrère, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, Nordstadt by Annika Büsing, Torto Arado by Itamar Vieira Júnior, and Tudo é rio by Carla Madeira.
As a translator, I aim to stay true to the author’s voice while making the text resonate naturally with Brazilian readers. I’m excited to work with authors who want to expand their reach and bring their stories to a new audience.
