I am a reader and a book lover. To me, translation means deciphering codes, puzzle solving, entertainment. However, it also means a commitment to the author and the reader, and I see it as a challenging and captivating activity. Besides, I like the research and the opportunity for continuous learning. To be a translator is an old plan that I am realizing now. Retired from work since 2015, I am starting a new career, doing what I love to do, from the place I love to stay: home. I worked as a specialist in seed technology and plant production, so my background is agriculture, biology, botany, entomology and plant health. I have also a degree in Translation from English into Portuguese.
