Micky Bane is a Peruvian writer, broadcaster, and musician born in Lima.
As a writer he has published "Blaine", first volume of the series "Chronicles of a Real Vampire" and "The Beautiful Story of a Hideous man" both in Spanish.
Bane is the bass player in the punk/grunge band "Arcana" in his hometown since 1997. The band have three studio albums and producing a new one.
He won the 1st place award for The National Short Film Festival (FENACO) 2011, for the documentary category with his work "Restaurant Bar Cordano".
The documentary was selected from over one hundred nationwide.
He is also a professional broadcaster. He worked for CPN Radio and "Vive el rock". He still uses his voice for ads, presenter and play-by-play commentator on live sporting events.
He is working now on his next novel, part of the series: "Chronicles of a Real Vampire". It is expected to be published in late 2015.
