I've worked as a full-time Technical Translator (machinery, medical, computers) since 1991, from English to Spanish, and have also translated literature from Spanish to English. I'm passionate about Literary Translation, which is really an art. I've lived both in Great Britain and USA, and have an excellent knowledge of English and Spanish.

Author review: Stranded Love is a collection of five short crime-drama/horror stories. Lorenzo has completed it in record time. The translation has been double checked by Spanish mother tongue readers — provided by the author — and that made a few suggestions that Lorenzo has incorporated. Although the original work (being short stories) would amount to an otherwise work-sample for a translator, Lorenzo has dealt with it with the required professionalism. I'm confident Spanish readers will enjoy the stories and be frightened / horrified as it happens for the original. |
