My name is Ilaria, I am Italian and I have always been passionate for languages and translations. I own a high school diploma in languages and at that time I also got high language certificates for English, German and French. During my Bachelor's degree I spent six months in Paris and during that time I met an artist, painter and book writer who asked me to translate one of her stories into Italian. It was an experience that changed my life, but due to inexperience and lack of self-confidence I never published my translation, which is something that I would love to finalize as soon as possible. Might this opening-up be a good start?
After my Bachelor I travelled to Spain, I have been doing an Internship at a Language Academy where I was English Teacher for children and teenagers. I love the education world and I had previously started doing English workshop and working as a monitor in Summer camps for kids while I was studying in my hometown. Then I started my Master's degree in Modern Philology and life brought me to Morocco through a volunteer program. I literally fall in love with the people and their hospitality, so I decided to move here after my first year of Master studies. I followed the rest of my university courses online in the evening, while during the day I was working in a bilingual kindergarten in Rabat as English teacher. My fourth school year is about to start and I am here on Babelcube looking for a project on which I can work in the evenings.
I am a very enthusiastic and warm-hearted person. I am always eager to get to know new realities, I am curious and meticulous when it comes to commitments. I can speak and read English and French very fluently, that's why I would like to work mainly with these two languages. I am fluent in Spanish too, so I might be interested in short translations from Spanish as well.
Hopefully we can collaborate and create something magical.
