I am French born and moved to Canada 17 years ago.  Most of my degrees and qualifications were obtained in English universities and I am perfectly bilingual.  I am a freelance translator, with some 15 years of experience, who is seeking a progressive entry into literary translation. 

I am also a researcher and an academic, and am used to handling large documents in terms of editing, consistency, proofing and general stylistic cohesion.  I have accumulated two years of full-time experience as a professional proofreader early in my carreer.    

I am an avid reader, extremely active on Goodreads, with wide interests from crime to contemporary fiction.  I review academic volumes as well.
