Hello,

Thanks for reading this! My name is Dennis and I'm an Austrian hopefully-soon-to-be-finished BA student of English and history. I was born and raised here, so my mother's tongue is German. While I also know some French, it is not enough (yet) to be secure enough in it to actually translate stuff into or from it. I study at the University of Graz and have completed most of the applied language courses the English department's bachelor curriculum has to offer, including one dedicated to learning how to translate. In June 2019, I all but reached one of my big goals in life when I successfully completed the Cambridge's Certificat of Proficiency in English with 214/230 points. What else is there to say. I'm particularly interested in mythologies, the middle ages, heraldry, the renaissance and the era leading up to the French revolution, but also IT, video games, fantasy, mixology. I also love cats and the dead silence of the city at around 3 a.m.

Hallo!
Danke fürs Lesen. Mein Name ist Dennis, ich bin Österreicher und hoffentlich-bald-fertiger Bachelorstudent des Englischen und der Geschichte. Ich wurde in Österreich geboren und bin auch hier aufgewachsen, also ist meine Muttersprache Deutsch. Wenngleich ich auch ein wenig Französisch kann ist es doch (noch) nicht genug, um Sachen aus dem und ins Französische zu übersetzen. Ich studiere an der Uni Graz und habe die meisten 'applied language' Kurse, die im Curriculum des Englisch-Studiums stehen, abgeschlossen, inklusive einem Kurs der dem Übersetzen gewidmet ist. Im Juni 2019 habe ich dann endlich eines meiner großen Lebensziele erreicht und erfolgreich das Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English mit 214 von 230 Punkten bestanden. Was gibt's noch zu sagen... Ich habe ein reges Interesse an Mythologien, dem Mittelalter, der Heraldik, der Renaissance und der Ära vor der Französischen Revolution. Ich bin aber auch an der Informatik, Videospielen, Fantasy und dem Mischen von Cocktails interessiert. Außerdem liebe ich Katzen und die Stille der Nacht um drei in der Früh.
