Will she have the courage to answer him 'why' and reconquer the man she loves?
Book will be released in another week.
“Sabrina?” It was Aleksy’s voice.
He had entered the gallery looking for me, interrupting my thoughts. I turned to Nikos. He fixed his glare on Aleksy, his lips locked in a thin line.
Aleksy slowed when he saw Nikos. “What are you doing here, Nikos? What do you want with her?” he asked in a challenging tone.
Nikos grunted. His eyes narrowed, and he moved away from me.
Aleksy walked up to him with a tightened jaw. “She doesn’t want you. Can’t you take no for an answer?”
“Aleksy,” I said. “Stay out of this. Please.”
Aleksy was face to face with Nikos. “You always think you can have any woman and do whatever you want, don’t you, Mr. Perfect?”
Nikos turned his back on Aleksy and ran his fingers through his hair. Then, he turned and punched Aleksy hard in the chin.
Aleksy staggered backwards, covering his chin with his hand, not expecting the blow.
I stepped in front of Nikos and put a hand on his chest.
“Nikos, no, please. It’s not what you think. No.”
He didn’t move.
Aleksy steadied himself and clenched his fists. I stood between them, preventing Aleksy from getting near Nikos again.
“I’ve been wanting to do that for a long time,” Nikos said, his upper lip curled in defiance.
“Sabrina, stay away from him,” Aleksy said. His nostrils were flared, and his voice was a growl.
