Did you know that the most important aspect of any coin is ‘what is the condition of the coin?’
The value of a coin depends on how perfect the condition of the coin is.
So, all coins should be sent to a Grading Company to be graded for the value to be determined.
To determine the rarity of a coin, there are Coin Grading companies who examine every coin they get and look for imperfections in the clarity, color, embossing of each coin.
Every coin is graded and allocated points between 50 and 70...with 70 points being the highest and best grading that a coin can get.
So that no one can tamper with a coin after it has been graded, the coin is sealed in a plastic container and the grading number appears inside the coin-case.
