Inferno by JB Trepagnier

A Paranormal Academy Reverse Harem Romance

The daughter of Lucifer and an Ancient prophecy

Inferno

Where no hope is left, is left no fear

My familiar brings us word. Another one of my mates has their life on the line with this deadly game with the Hellhounds and the mysterious Prince of Hell. They don’t seem to know Lilith is on our side. We have our secrets too. The game strikes a little too close to home and I’m in a fighting mood. It’s time to fight back. I have this idea I can play the Hellhounds like they’ve been trying to play me. My little game goes a little too far as my angel gifts start appearing when I’m not trying to call them.

My list of allies is growing. The Warlock Council is on our side and Lilith has brought in the Lust Demon Council. We have more Hellhound allies now too. We know who is behind trying to kill my mates. Lilith is not taking the attempt on Keane’s life lightly. She has a plan and all I know about Lilith’s plots is that they are devious and they always work.

We were warned something big was in the works. We all should have taken that a lot more seriously because the Prince has made his move and the people I love are in danger.

Sample text:

Gaius pretty much dropped a shit storm in our lap, and then I dropped a huge bomb in his that he was probably one of my mates. Maybe I was grasping at nothing since the prophecy said the missing name was a Hellhound and he was the only one who had come stomping into my life that smelled good like Keane. I had two classes full of Hellhounds, and all I ever smelled was the distinctive smell of Brimstone. I could pick up Gaius’ hellfire in a crowded room. Keane smelled like someone was burning sandalwood. Lucifer smelled like straight-up mahogany. I had this favorite Nag Champa incense I burned when I was doing yoga, and Gaius’ hellfire smelled just like my favorite incense.

No one was happy about it. Gaius’ aura had started to clear as he told us what was going on with the Hellhounds. It was like once he was able to tell someone about it, the royal blue his aura was supposed to be was able to peek through more. As soon as I started talking about prophecies and mates, there was a new color in his aura — the swirling red of anger. Gaius could probably smell the exact same thing I did. He was mad he was stuck with me.

Gaius pretty much went storming out of the room after Keane said we needed to talk to Lucifer and Lilith. Gaius still had no idea who my father was, but we had no intention of telling him just yet. He told us what was going on, and he might smell good to me, but I hadn’t forgotten he threatened Azriel and I. He kept saying he hated it and he was just following orders, but Gaius had a long way to go before he was one of us.
