Her eyes went to her father across the room. A shaft of sunlight was shining down upon him. His eyes were closed, and he was hanging from the wall in dark, rough chains. Blood covered his temples, hands and shoulder. She cried out as she started toward him.
A dark shadow detached itself from the wall to her father's left. She stumbled to a stop, and felt Wolf do the same beside her. She breathed heavily as the shadow came to life.
Obsidian.
Five more shadows detached themselves from the wall. They had dark cloaks pulled around their faces so she couldn't see what they looked like.
The five stepped out of the shadows and then stopped, but Obsidian kept on coming. His eyes flashed a deadly, poison blue. Her heart turned to ice as the dragon fire inside of her went out.
Having barely escaped from the Plains of Fire with her life, Auri follows the pleas of her father and sets out for the safety and knowledge of the Dragon Masters. Once there, she hopes to immerse herself in their training and become the decisive edge that Terradin needs to stop Obsidian and his Rebels.
But before her journey has even truly begun, someone dear to her is ripped away from her. Reeling from the loss, and with Terradin growing ever darker around her, she is forced to make a terrible decision that will have lasting repercussions.
Does she cling to what once was? Or does she reforge herself anew like the fabled phoenix, and rise from the ashes to burn brighter than ever before.
I have three books that I would love to be translated. I'm looking for German, French, and Italian in particular, but please contact me if you translate in another language and are interested!
I have three books out so far, all in the same series. Dragon Dreams is the first in the series and is not available in Spanish or Chinese because those are being processed or have already been translated, but it's available in all other languages. Dragon Ties is the second book in the series and is available for all languages except Spanish. The same for the third book in the series, Dragon Light. I have one more book in the series, with a hopefuly completion date of early 2016.
Dragon Dreams is currently in the top 100 in its category on Amazon. Out of 37 customer reviews on Amazon, its ranking is 4.3 out of 5 stars, and on Smashwords the reviews are even better. Five stars across the board on Smashwords.
Dragon Ties, with 19 customer reviews on Amazon, is currently rated 4.1 out of 5 stars.
Dragon Light is currently rated 4.8 stars out of 5.
These novels are well liked by those that have read them, and I have a loyal fan base. I believe they will succeed even greater in a broader market by diversifying the languages.
My reach on my Facebook page is nearly 800 with both of my pages, and my reach on Twitter is nearing 5,000. I market several times a week.
I have just hired a few reputable sites to market for me later this month, and will repeat this as often as possible to help boost sales and word of mouth of my books, including the ones in different languages.
Take a look at my manuscript, and review the books online. If you think that translating one or all of them into your language of choice sounds like something that would work for you, please feel free to contact me! I'm looking forward to working with you. :)
Best regards, Dusty Lynn Holloway
“Dance with me,” he murmured huskily.
She wound herself into his arms, and leaned her body against his. Her arms wrapped around him. Her head lay on his shoulder, just above where his heart would beat for her.
He put from his mind the fact that tomorrow was uncertain. That shadows lingered, stealing the dawn like stolen breath, like stolen chastity or virtue. That darkness hovered.
Because in her arms, there was no darkness.
Eternity unfolded, clear and radiant. He could taste her on his tongue, feel her spirit merge with his, feel her light draw him in. Moonlight gleamed softly over them as they danced, like moonlight on the waves of a glistening shore. It scattered through them, sending forth brilliance and then throwing the light back to the shadows.
The air was cold and still. Frozen. Clean.
The whole night passed in peace. In utter surrender. In drowning. The new dawn brought the other dragons, and something else—fragile hope.
