A prophecy of murder.
An elf hunted by dragons.
One man who risks everything to save her.
Nachal is a human that should not be having prophetic Dragon Dreams. But he does. Every night he dreams of an elf running through flames, trying in vain to outrun the Rebel Dragon Obsidian. Every night he sees her fall. Sees her eyes close. Feels her heart as it slows, and then stops. Every night, through the connection of the dream, he dies with her. It's a spiral that he can't control, and it's slowly driving him insane.
Auri is an elf raised by a powerful human king not of her own blood. Left behind by the mother who perished far from the elven isle El`dell, she seeks to forge her life among the humans. Her journey takes her to the land of her heritage. To a place that holds both a haunting betrayal, and a miracle that just might save her life.
Together, they become embroiled in a conspiracy where destinies are intertwined, love is born in the fallout of ultimate sacrifice, and the only path to victory lies through the searing flames of dragon fire.
I have three books that I would love to be translated. I'm looking for German, French, and Italian in particular, but please contact me if you translate in another language and are interested!
I have three books out so far, all in the same series. Dragon Dreams is the first in the series and is not available in Spanish or Chinese because those are being processed or have already been translated, but it's available in all other languages. Dragon Ties is the second book in the series and is available for all languages except Spanish. The same for the third book in the series, Dragon Light. I have one more book in the series, with a hopefuly completion date of early 2016.
Dragon Dreams is currently in the top 100 in its category on Amazon. Out of 37 customer reviews on Amazon, its ranking is 4.3 out of 5 stars, and on Smashwords the reviews are even better. Five stars across the board on Smashwords.
Dragon Ties, with 19 customer reviews on Amazon, is currently rated 4.1 out of 5 stars.
Dragon Light is currently rated 4.8 stars out of 5.
These novels are well liked by those that have read them, and I have a loyal fan base. I believe they will succeed even greater in a broader market by diversifying the languages.
My reach on my Facebook page is nearly 800 with both of my pages, and my reach on Twitter is nearing 5,000. I market several times a week.
I have just hired a few reputable sites to market for me later this month, and will repeat this as often as possible to help boost sales and word of mouth of my books, including the ones in different languages.
Take a look at my manuscript, and review the books online. If you think that translating one or all of them into your language of choice sounds like something that would work for you, please feel free to contact me! I'm looking forward to working with you. :)
Best regards, Dusty Lynn Holloway
In my heart you live, nurtured and at peace.
In my life you belong, always.
The red dawn of war clashes with the tide. Black descends. Shadows come alive.
I call to you. I see you across the field of battle, calling to me. So many stand between us.
I turn away to the tide; the tide sweeps forward, surging, billowing, covering.
I raise my hand and stare at the sky above. Silence descends. A hush. Tears fall down. Liquid, they fall down my face, down my grimy cheeks, onto my bloodstained clothes.
I raise my other hand. A burst of time shoots forward, galloping like my heart as I wait for the final blow . . . but it never comes. I’ve frozen the moment in time as the blade meant for my heart pierces his.
The sobs choke my chest as I stare at the metal, gleaming red like the rising sun, sticking from his chest. His eyes are frozen as well, locked onto mine. They look unsurprised. I sink down to my knees; tears fall harder.
I hear your voice. A shout, no, a scream. A scream of pain and anguish, despair and fear. A scream that locks into my bones and into my blood, reverberating with endless echoes in my mind and soul.
I don't turn around to look at you. Instead I look straight ahead to the eyes that are locked onto mine, and then bring both of my hands down in a gesture as sharp as the red-hued blade swallowing my vision. Light explodes outward from me, devouring the night, consuming everything in its path.
I fall. He falls too. His eyes speak the things he cannot say. They close after a minute, but mine stay open.
You reach me then. Everyone else is flattened, reeling on the blood-soaked earth, but you reach me. You turn me face up. You gather me in your arms. You weep, but my eyes are dry now. My eyes are dry,
“It will be alright,” I whisper to you. “It will be alright.

Author review: Debora is a fantastic translator. From the beginning, she listened to my preferences for the setup of the book, asked questions when she encountered wording that she needed clarification on, and made the whole process completely painless. And the end translation turned out beautiful! I didn't have to do a lot of work on the back end of this translation, because she listened so carefully to my directions, and turned out a beautiful Portuguese manuscript. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. If you're looking for someone to do a high quality translation from English to Portuguese, I highly recommend Debora! She's amazing! |
