When locals want the lowdown on what’s going on in their own state…They turn to Amber Richards’ Exploring America series! That’s why travelers are catching on to this invaluable series as well.
More than just travel guides, these state-by-state editions, dial-in to the locales, the events, the goods, the foods, sights, sounds, and characters you MUST experience if you want the right to say, “I’ve been there!”
It is not a typical travel guide, in the sense that the focus is not about where to eat and where to stay, but rather on where to go and what to experience to get an authentic sense of Alabama.
In this edition, Amber collaborates with a local Alabaman to pop the cork on Alabama's rich heritage and history. From well-known attractions and the history behind them, to the obscure less traveled experiences, Ms. Richards delivers the real Alabama to your fingertips!
This is the 2nd book in a series for Exploring America by state. Only avaiable in an ebook, but plan to release the physical book in the next 2 months. I sell between 5-15 copies per month on average.
Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #500,526 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)
5 star rating by reviewers.
I will be also making this into a paperback edition through Babelcube, and will set up a landing page for this book and promote it (as with all my books)
In this series, we'll be taking a look, at one American state at a time to explore. In this ebook, we'll be looking at the beautiful state of Alabama.
Whether you are a resident of Alabama, or plan to visit, we'll be checking out cool places to see and interesting things to do. Some of these will be well known, popular options, while others will be more obscure, out of the way places to discover.
This was written in collaboration with a resident of Alabama, to offer a local's perspective of the area. Often times that offers a completely different view of an area, than when written by a travel guide.
The focus of this series is not about where to stay and eat (unless that offers a truly unique experience for the region), but about the towns, the local life, nature, landscape, some history, and things to do while in Alabama. You will also find chapters on ghost towns, popular fairs & festivals to take in, and family friendly things to do.
