I'm a 27-year-old bookworm, aspiring writer and tv series addicted. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages and Civilisations. I speak English French and a little bit of German.
I have a 3 year experience in both translating and subtitling and I've taken a course in literary translation (english > italian). I've been working as a freelance audiovisual translator (mostly subtitling) and I’ve recently completed a master program in publishing (copyediting, proofreading, and so on…).
My biggest dream is to become a writer (I've already written several short stories and have been working on a novel for some time), so literary translation is the perfect combination of my two passions: writing and languages. My favorite genres (for reading and writing) are horror/paranormal (with a predilection for vampires), historical fiction and history, and mystery.
