I am 60 years old and moved with husband Nico and our dog to Italy in 2008 to start our bed-and-breakfast Villa I Due Padroni. From our blog that we kept from 2007 I took and rewrote the stories of our experiences here. It was published in 2014 entitled "Italiaanse Toestanden" and has sold quite well on the relatively small Dutch market (over a 1000 copies) and is still selling. From the outset I had the idea of having it translated into English but the cost was just too high. The idea of sharing the revenue is perfect for me. In the meantime I have written a sequel entitled "Meer Italiaanse Toestanden" which has only just been published and I may want to have translated in the future.
