Unfortunately, Silvana is been fighting a terrible desease for the last 3 years or so. I don't want to give gruesome details but she cannot do much theses days, I'm her sister, I tried to cancel this account but I couldn't do it for bureaucratic reasons. I thank everyone who has contacted and apologize to those who didn't get a reply. I wasn't rudeness, just a dark teist of fate.

Author review: She started well enough, I confided in her after she had translated a short story for me. She revised some chapters; then, because it's a log book, she added a copyeditor to help with the revisions. The first result though was, that she did not care much any moreto be as corect as possible - lots of small errors that even I could find It did not work out with the copy editor , but Silvana did not continue to revise either. And the last chapters were really bad: she did not seem to understand the text and often wrote just the contrary of what my text said - even iif it did not make any sense. Also she often did not use the precise term - her Spanish treasury of words seems limited to the most comon terms. In the whole it all took a very long time. And in the end she did not even answer to my messages. So I had to ask babelcube to cancel the agreement. |
