I've started learning English at an early age, I believe I was 7. It became a second mother tongue, and I translate between both Portuguese and English in an almost instinctive way.
Since I was 12 or 13 I translated texts and even tv shows from English to Portuguese for my friends. But I loved Biology, and I had some amazing teachers who encouraged me to study Sciences and get a major on Biology, which I didn't finish.
There I spent a lot of time translating the class material from English to Portuguese for all my classmates who didn't understand it, and I found out that it was the best way to study. Nevertheless it was not enough to finish that degree, and in 2008 I ended up changing it to "Translation Studies".
I admit I'm a book nerd, I love reading and getting lost in new worlds, which also explains why I'm a big fan of Role-Playing Games. I'm also a fan of social media and spend a lot of time online.

Author review: Sara has a clear-cut professional approach to the text in front of her. She has that much needed enquiring nature, extending her search even towards those cultural areas still not so familiar to her. |
