Since I was a child, I have always been interested in words. I can still picture my parents' perplexed gaze as I was always asking them why we use a particular word, for a specific object, instead of another.
I have decided to enroll in a linguistic High School here in Italy. Then I graduated in English and Spanish literature (cum laude) because books and literature have always been my greatest amusements.
During my Master's Degree in Translation, I had the opportunity to develop a good knowledge of translation strategies and to volunteer for different nonprofit organisations.
I am now a member of the Associazione Nazionale Italiana Traduttori e Interpreti (ANITI).
I have some experience in publishing as well since I have worked for a publishing house in Edinburgh, and I was able to truly understand how the translation and publication of a book works.
