In 2018 I completed my Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Linguistics and in 2022 my Master's degree in Literary Translation with English as source language at the Heinrich-Heine-University in Dusseldorf. Through my internship at Linguavision, a translation agency, which led to the start of my freelance work as a translator in 2017, I have translated technical texts in various fields and taken on post-editing tasks. As a research assistant in the department of English Linguistics, one of my tasks was to proofread academic texts. In addition, as part of my very practically-oriented studies, I have already taken part in two internships at EÜK Straelen and worked on various literary texts from different genres and cultures, with a special interest in YA and crime novels. Furthermore, I am currently working as literary translator, proofreader and copywriter in various domains and am constantly continuing my studies to broaden my horizon and learn new things every day.
