Hi, my name is Rodrigo Herrera. I'm mexican, and I'm typing this biography because my mission is to spread literature and knowledge regardless of the language barrier. I am a romance novels, thriller and science fiction stories lover. I have translated for a Latina author her various short novels and poems from Spanish to English. Currently, I'm translating a short novel on Wattpad (written by a friend of mine) from Spanish to English as well. Concerning my academic backgroud, I have a bachelor degree in Languages with a major in Translation, and one of the fields covered in this beautiful degree was precisely literary translation, where I made different kind of translations, such as: novels, poems, short tales and so on (from English / French to Spanish).
Why do I translate? Because it is my passion, and when you do something with passion, you take care of the smallest detail, you keep the writer's essence, you convey the same feelings that the artist intended with his (her) writings, and you spread the knowledge.

Je suis mexicain et j'écris cette biographie simplement pour faire en sorte que la littérature et les connaissances soient diffusées indépendamment de la barrière linguistique. Je suis passioné de romans d'amour, de thrillers et de science-fiction. J'ai traduit pour une auteure latine ses petits romans et poèmes de l'espagnol vers l'anglais. À ce moment-ci, je traduis un petit roman, disponible sur Wattpad, de l'espagnol vers l'anglais aussi. En ce qui concerne ma formation universitaire, je suis diplômée en langues avec une spécialisation en traduction, et l'un de ces domaines de cette belle discipline est la traduction littéraire, dans laquelle j'ai traduit: romans, poèmes, contes et plus encore.
À quoi bon traduire? Je le fais car c'est ma passion, et quand on fait quelque chose de manière passionnée, on prend en compte le moindre détail, on conserve l'essence de l'artist (e), on transmet les mêmes sentiments que l'écrivain souhaitait avec ses écrits, et on étend les connaissances.
