Hi, my name is Rick.
My native languages are Spanish and English because of my father being from the USA and my mother being Latin American. I actually work from home as both a Spanish and English tutor. (www.chatterbug.com and www.gopopon.com)
I think that my American and Latino background will be useful in translation as I know how both groups thinks and how do they build ideas.
With books, I find difficult to find a story that really makes me feel something, but when I find one I really enjoy it.
Thats why I consider its important to have an accurate translation for a book, its not just about the words but I have to be capable to represent the author's feelings and ideas. It has to feel like the same person is talking.
