Swedish-English & English-Swedish Freelance Translator/Proofreader/Editor/Author

Hi there!

In order to be a good translator/proofreader/editor it is not enough to have high language knowledge (even though I boast that aplenty as well); one needs to understand and appreciate the written work from personal experience. After a lifetime of reading, writing and translating for my own pleasure, I believe I am more than capable of translating your book.

GENRES
While Fantasy (and to some extent SciFi) is my genre forté of old, I have a rather widened and honed palette and read/write most anything these days.

EDUCATION
I have a BA in Creative Writing from Brunel University with nothing below top marks for every written project during my study years. To achieve such good marks when writing in your second language is impressive and noteworthy.

PROCESS
I translate between English and Swedish*, with a guaranteed 1000 words translated per day, five days a week.

My sample proposals are calculated based on that the average book has about 500 words per page.
My days for completion proposal exclude the 15+ waiting for approval days.
