Translater from Afrikaans to English or English to Afrikaans

Good day

I have translated many books and have built up more experience in this type of work from English to Afrikaans. I still find time to read both Afrikaans and English Fiction books inbetween work and translating.

I have read many translated books in both Afrikaans and English and have, in most cases, felt that I could have done a better job translating the feeling that an author might have tried to create, but the translater was not always successful in my opinion.

I am doing the translating work as a second income in my spare time, and hence has to choose long working periods to ensure that I finish the books in time, all with the highest standard of work.

I genre preference is that of Fiction. I love suspence, action, drama and crime stories. Historic Romance, Medical Romance, Modern Romance and mostly Romance are also enjoyed. And don't forget about those Westerns.
