Leonardo charreu

 

Leonardo Charréu (1964, Glória do Ribatejo, Salvaterra de Magos) holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Porto,  Portugal, a Master's Degree in Art History from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. He lectured ant taught at the University of Évora and the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) in Brazil. He has been a visiting professor at several European and Latin American universities. Member of GEPAEC (Group of Studies and Research in Art, Education and Culture) of UFSM. Research interests on Teacher Training, Visual Arts,  Art and Visual Culture, Art and Cognition and Arts-Based Research Methodologies. He is currently a professor at the Superior  School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Portugal
