Born and raised in Brazil, I hold a degree in Literature & Language (English and Portuguese).
I have worked as an English teacher since 2007. I worked for a couple of years at a language school, but in 2010 I started making up my own teaching methodology and have taught private classes as a self-employed teacher since then.
I have written book reviews on the brazilian website "Sobre Livros e Traduções", which is a blog specialized in books and translations.
As a freelance translator, I have translated a few technical publications, such as abstracts, manuals and articles.
I consider translation the best integration of my two greatest passions: literature and language. I am longing for working on this area, aware that it demands total dedication, focus, commitment and passion.
