Since the end of 2013 I publish books under the pseudonym Laura Newman.
During my school days, I wrote a lot too, but I was drawn for the time being in the world of online design and advertising. After exciting ten years as a media designer for digital and print media, I did let my passion for imaginative stories revive and decided to publish on my own as a self-publisher.
With "Time Travel Inc. - Rewind" I brought my first book on the market. Afterwards, there was no stopping and I learned from mistakes, recognize my strengths and was part of an incredibly diverse online community. A second Time Travel book followed. (Time Travel Inc. - Fast Forward)
Ever since I've published my first dystopia, NIGHTSUN Chronicles (NACHTSONNE), my life became a never-ending explosion of creativity, new acquaintances and exciting experiences.
I gave up my "day job" in mid-2014 and has since devoted myself to write. The related promotional activities in various social networks fill my days - and often my nights - completely out.
To date, have been published over 40 reviews on bookblogs, more than 90 Amazon reviews, as well as about 20 video reviews on YouTube. Volume 1 of the dystopia NACHTSONNE is one of the most in front of a YouTube camera presented, self-published publication at all (in Germany).
Book 1 of the series NACHTSONNE won in April this year at the "e-Book Cover Design Awards" a "Gold Star" on thebookdesigner.com.
On the popular reading platform lovelybooks.de the book was chosen by readers at No. 1 of the 2014 published e-books.
December 2014, appeared in the "Weser Kurier", one of the most far-reaching big city newspapers in Germany, a detailed report on the NACHTSONNE trilogy.
