Hi! I'm Laura, I was born and live in Rome, Italy.
I've always been interested in languages and cultures so I took a degree in Translation at University La Sapienza in Rome, with a major in Portuguese and Japanese as a minor.
Now my main job is teaching Italian to foreigners, and translation is just a part-time activity, but I hope it'll become my main source of income in the next few years.
I love travelling and I lived six month in Lisbon, Portugal and three months in Tokyo, Japan. I like to discover new things and new ways of life. And new foods :)

Author review: I am very pleased with Ms. Laura Carletti's work. Not only did she translated my book 'Home Style Indian Cooking In A Jiffy' in Italian but also improvised on the original document where she considered it necessary. She made some interesting improvements like adding serving size or explaining ingredients for the Italian audience. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone. |
