My name is Khrystyna and I am a graduate of York University, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Translation. My program focused on French to English translation and allowed me to dip into the world of medical, marketing/advertising, and general translation. I love to read self-help books on technology, health, and lifestyle.
In addition to French, I also translate from Ukrainian to English (though there was no option for this when I was setting up my profile). I was born in Ukraine, studied the language for many years after moving to Canada, and continue to speak it at home.
I'm currently working on translating subtitles for TED; I've covered TED talks on a variety of topics such as music, technology, motivation, and radicalization.
Outside of all this, I am a flutist, a cat owner, and I consider myself a self-starter.
