Julio Carreras Llisterri (Valencia, 1974) was born to be a man of science, but the river of life, in one of its capricious meanderings, placed him in front of a pen and a blank sheet of paper. He is an Agricultural engineer and in both his professional and personal life, writing plays a fundamental role. He debuted in the world of literature in 2016 with “El secreto de la Painita” (Sargantana), which was followed by “La nave A-122” (Sargantana) in 2018, “Si Freddie Mercury no hubiera muerto” in 2022 and “El último cuadro de Zhao” (Sargantana) in 2023. In love with life, he is the father of a large family and his main hobbies are hiking and literature. He has travelled to more than fifty countries and has volunteered in different non-profit associations. He always has a story or anecdote to tell and, thanks to his experiences and overflowing imagination, he knows how to leave the reader wondering where the boundary between reality and fiction is.
