Hello!
I am a Venezuelan International Affairs student from the Central University of Venezuela. I am proficient in Spanish and English languages, as I was raised in a bilingual environment and they have been part of my educational process.
As for my job experiences, I have worked in Venezuela as an English teacher, where I used my language knowledge to clarify the student's issues and provide the best service towards the improvement of their English skills. Moreover, I have been in the field of translations for about three years, working with all kinds of documents and files: from single documents, including short and long projects in different areas (highlited in my translation skills' list below), to video editing and subtitling translations.
As a university student who participates in different extracurricular activities, I am used to tight schedules and deadlines, which has made me quite an organized person. As an outcome, I work fast with the highest level of accuracy, always taking into consideration that communication with the client is one of my main concerns as a way to maintain a high level of transparency.
All in all, life have taught us that, as Henry Ford said, coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, but working together is success. High-end Model United Nations (MUN) activities in English helped me improve my communication skills with others and to have clear goals in difficult situations. In addition, these activities will also allow me to have the opportunity to participate in the Paris International Model United Nations Conference (2019), next May in France, representing both my University and my country.
