Spanish poet and writer, PhD in Biology and martial artist

My name is Ignacio Peñín. I wrote my PhD Thesis in English, so I had the duty of reading and understanding most of what I read.

In addition, I have written tons of pages since I was a child, I have participated in many writting contests and I have won a handful prizes. More important, I have participated in poetry events as and theatre stages. I have been published in Spanish (three group antologies and my own poetry book), two of my texts have been staged in small theatres and the Univertity of Poitiers translated three of my short stories to French. Still, I cannot be considered as professional as my earnings cannot support a living.

In the other hand, I draw comics. I am farther to professionality in this area, but some drawings were published in a newspaper in Querétaro (México). You can see a selection of my work (poems, tales, short novels, essays) in "http://khajinecia.wordpress.com" in order to know how I write.
