I am a citizen of the world. I know no boundaries

I am Ieda and I am 35 years old. I have been working as a professional translator for nearly 7 years but I have been translating led by curiosity since I was 12. I am brazilian, from Rio de Janeiro and my first gig was translating "Shadow Falls"( all 4 issues) for the famous swedish cartunist, Mikael Bergkvist from english to spanish. I also had the honour to translate the comic "Class Action" by Mikael Bergkvist and Neal Adams. "Dragon Slayer', "The curse of the hunter". Administrative and accounting and taxing translations for Deadline.com, a swedish company focused on producing Intelectual Property, owned by Mikael Bergkvist and years. I worked for another swedish companies such as  AB LIcooL and Prismalence. The american Ardden Entertainment and Action Lab Entertainment and I gotta say it was a joy translating "Princeless" and "The Haunted Cab".  I went on interexchanges twice,  to Cambridge, England and Dublin in South Ireland and I loved every second of those times, cos I am a greater admirer of the british and irish cultures, their music, concerts, authors, plays, the sense of humour, great beer, artists playing on the streets besides their accents are way too beautiful not to be heard.  I've also immigrated to Argentine and Uruguay. I have in total 13 certificates each course lasted 280 hours and 4 courses are professional qualifications, as english and spanish teacher, social educator and counsellor. I work, for more than one year now as a spanish and english  teacher, translator and reviewer for Self English , an online english school but it also provides another services and languages. Through them I work for 'Setter logisticas e embalagens' , tanslating their website and presentation to both idioms, the legends for the videos made by BNI Brasil , 'Oral B's website, 'A&S Assessoria' and I usually translate quite a lot for 'Aprimorha',  'Rotary Clube Londrina' among others. I have studied classic singing for 8 years, I am a sound technician. Or rather, was. I wasn't the one who chose to be a translator, this fine art  knows as translation chose me and I couldnt help on falling in love with such unlimited worlds. I couldnt help falling in love with my greater talent. I wanna translate a story, a book, an actual book. I wanna translate loads actually.   UPTADE: And Thanks to Cindy Vine and Babel Cube I translated my first book. CHEEEERRRRRSSSS. Now, I am also part of Workana and been hired by the swedish company ComicsFirst.
