Coming from a multicultural and multilingual background, I was born to be a translator. From a very young age, I have had an insatiable curiosity for books, and with time passing, I have realised one crucial thing: translating literature is an art. A good translation is all about preserving the authors' spirit, it's about capturing emotions, the cultural context.
During my university years in Austria and Italy, I discovered my unique talent for languages. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Translation Studies and Interpreting in June 2020 and my Master's in Literary Translation in June 2021 in English, German, Italian, and Turkish.
After completing my studies, I decided to collaborate with language specialists in Turkey. Furthermore, I accepted a job offer from a proofreading company in Germany, which I have been working with since 2020. Both jobs are a valuable asset, as I am able to engage with writers directly and understand the nuances of their work.
My career as a literary translator took off when I started translating novels for American bestselling authors, like Kara Lockharte, Tana Stone, and many more. Even the smallest job requires my full attention and dedication. For the last three years, I have also been working on Upwork, I am proud of achieving a 100% success rate and the highest possible badge, which is Top Rated Plus.
