Since I was I child I have loved reading and I knew what I would like to become, a book translator. For this reason I started studying languages in high school. I studied Spanish and obtained a double diploma (one for Italian and one for Spanish) and I also obtained DELE nivel C1. I took IGCSE English exam and ended the high school with an HSK level 3 in Chinese. Then I got a 3 year degree at Turin University, my course name is "Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa". My specialization languages were Chinese and English and I also studied literature. My course focused on Chinese culture, especially literature, history and philosophy. During these three years at university I worked for some months for Turin Confucius Institute and I had the opportunity to work side by side with Chinese teachers and help them with the revision of a Chinese Grammar Book for beginners. For my degree dissertation I translated a part of a short story by Ding Ling, a Twentieth Century chinese woman writer. The main topic of my dissertation was her literary activity before the constitution of People's Republic of China.
I have a personal blog written in both Italian and English. I often read books and review them on my blog.
At the moment I'm carrying on my studies to get a Master's Degree in Chinese
