Meticulous, curious and rigorous. I take from translation the greatest pleasure one can take out of a work.

I graduated in International Journalism (1999), but have been working in cultural production and programming since then, namely in Visual Arts.

I have curated and produced exhibitions, but have mainly edited and written texts and catalogues - from proofreading to translation.

In 2005, and since it had always been a passion, I undertook a postgraduate course on Literary Translation (English-Portuguese) at the University of Porto.

Throughout these years, I have always been translating whenever I can, whether it may be within the art, culture and communication contexts or for literary purposes.
