Greetings, my name is Francisco, I am a professional translator fluent in both Portuguese and English.

I have a degree in Languages, Literature and Culture where I successfully studied English all the way to the maximum level (C2). I also gained knowledge in very diverse areas, such as Medieval Imaginary and British Cinema. Afterwards I decided to obtain a postgraduate degree in Translation. There, I gained experience translating both technical and literary texts. Furthermore, I learned how to properly use the CAT tools SDL Trados and Wordfast. Both degrees were obtained at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon.

I collaborated on the translation of the book Railways: People and Memories, which is a collection of autobiographical memoirs written by former railwaymen.
