Born in 1988, with “Streifzug durch Laos” (“Ramblings through Laos – Adventures in the Land of the thousand Elepahnts”) I have presented the most exensive and thorough travelogue of this fascinating country and receiving positive reviews from several travel magazins and organisations such as the “Alliance for Democracy in Laos”. The sequel, “Das Schwinden der Silberfäden” (“The disappearance of the silver threads”) was published as part of the popular series “Lesereise” (“Reading journey”), containing more than a hundred books, of the prestigious Picus Verlag (publisher). I am the author of “Durch das Herz Englands” (“Through the Heart of England – Step by Step from Coast to Coast”), Biographer of the German writer Liselotte Welskopf-Henrich and editor of the travel and country series “Wie wir es sehen” (“As we see it”), in which so far volumes on China, France, Australia and India have been released. My travel journeys and documentaries appear in major magazins such as “Asia Bridge”, “inAsien”, “Das WeltreiseJournal”, “Amerindian Research” and the “Magazin für Amerikanistik”. On the book fair in Leipzig 2012 I have been awarded as one of the “Authors without boundaries” for a piece on Hongkong. Current publications include an illustrated book on Sitting Bull and documentary style books on Cambodia and Hongkong.
