I’m from the US and have been living and working in Montevideo, Uruguay for the past 4 years. I work as a translator, editor, communications facilitator, and also provide English classes and instruction for international companies based in Uruguay.
I work closely with my clients translating and editing documents, reports, and various web content. I enjoy working with my clients on their websites and other web content to ensure that there are no mistakes and to improve the writing in order to help them attract more customers. Since I am fluent in Spanish, I am also able to help my clients maintain good customer relations by helping facilitate and improve communication between my clients and their international customers.
I'm the owner of my own company and also work freelance which allows me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I have plenty of experience translating various documents, articles, and reports for clients. My most recent projects included translating and editing a yearly report for the Montevideo Department of Culture and Education and translating a movie script for a film production company based in Uruguay.
Since I was young I've always loved reading, and I wouId love to be able to join together my passion with literature with my translation and editing skills. I also really enjoy having a wide range of different projects to work on. It not only keeps things interesting, but also allows me to continuously grow as a translator and editor.
