Elena Rizzo is a 30-year-old Italian student who loves to get in touch with foreign languages and cultures. Since the first years of High School she became very keen on studying English, German and Spanish.
Thereafter, when she enrolled at the university, she decided to quit studying German in order to focus just on learning and practicing English and Spanish.
In 2013 she graduated as a translator both in English and Spanish.
In the same year she decided to move to Perpignan, a small city in southern France. Living there allowed Elena to learn French and to succeed being admitted at the University of Perpignan (UPVD). In June 2016 she achieved even the second bachelor’s degree as a translator, this time also in French.
During the last 6 years she has been travelling a lot and she has also been living in different countries.
In 2011 she spent 6 months in Valladolid (Spain) where she took part in the ERASMUS project. This was the right opportunity to visit and discover the Spanish region of Castilla y León.
Then she came back to Italy to complete her academic career and to achieve the bachelor degree.
After that she moved to France where she had been living for the following 3 years.
During that period she studied hard and travelled. She also worked for a Translation agency as a translator from French to Italian.
Today she’s attending an academic course at the Cadiz University to achieve the Master’s degree in Audiovisual Translation (Localization, Subtitling & dubbing).
