Davinia Lacht (author)

Davinia Albert Rodríguez

Davinia lacht

Davinia Lacht was born in Valencia, Spain, and is a trained translator and interpreter of Spanish, English and German. She is the author to Lessons from the Monastery and Y de pronto, silencio; and is currently working on several other projects.

When she was twenty-three, she experienced a sudden spiritual awakening triggered by the death of her brother. Over the years, she has deepened in her observation and understanding of the changes that took place inside her.

She now dedicates her life to translating those voices that speak to her in silence. Her spiritual message does not pertain to any one religion or tradition, calling for the union of everyone, beyond names. In her writings and talks, she seeks to share an ever more emphatic and simple message:

We are destined to live from the love that inevitably emerges when the voices of the world have been quieted. It is now time to return to a balance between "being" and "doing", to co-create a new earth where harmony reigns. It is only in this way that will we experience serene joy in our hearts.
