Trained as an electronic technician for the British Royal Air Force after leaving school. Left the Air Force in 1986 and settled in Germany. After first teaching English as a foreign language I moved into the computer industry and spent some years here before studying Technical Business Management at the IHK (German Chamber of Commerce). I applied these new business skills for several years which included, negotiation international business deals dealing with the automotive industry and universities in various European lands and North America, project management of Virtual Reality display systems in various lands in Europe and the Americas.

 

The many years of experience in using both the English language and the German language has given me the ability to use this real experience for translating purposes. I have successfully established myself as a Technical Translator from the German language into English.
