Native Italian Translator (IT, EN, ES), with a Master's Degree in Translation and Cultural Mediation

Hello, I am an Italian translator, with a Master's Degree in Translation an Cultural Mediation at the University of Udine (2019). I specialized in English (EN>IT, IT>EN) and Spanish translation (ES>IT, IT>ES). I have a C2 both in English and Spanish, and a B1 in German. During my studies, I took part to several programmes abroad: an Erasmus+ for studies in Spain (Valladolid) in 2014/2015, a study exchange extra-eu in Australia (Melbourne) in 2018, an Erasmus+ traineeship in Spain (Valencia) in 2019. Thanks to my studies abroad I could strengthen my knowledge of the English and the Spanish language and get to know closely the cultures behind them. I already have experience as a translator. During the second year of my Master's Degree, I took part to an internship as a translator for the Trieste Latin-American Film Festival, translating scripts by Chilean directors (ES>IT) and subtitling, together with a team of translators. Furthermore, I did my Erasmus+ traineeship in a translation agency, the Interpunct Translations S.L., where I have been translating and proofreading different kinds of texts (technical-scientific texts, legal texts, advertising texts, etc.) and creating subtitles (in particular, through the software WinCaps) and dubbing scripts. During my university studies, in 2018, I also took part to a workshop on the Computer-assisted Translation, organized by the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia: a training course aimed at learning how to use the CAT tools, focused on the software Trados Studio 2017.
